Please take a look at this site as it appears to have good information, posters, newsletter etc. about the Adversane and North Heath development.

Category 2 settlement - Clarification
Category 2 settlement and the restrictions discussed at the meeting on Wednesday night, apparently only apply within the village boundary. Hatches field is outside this boundary.
Reminder : restrictions included only being able to build in Category 2 settlements, if there was a statement of local housing needs.

Likely development profile
According Ollie Boulter - Horsham Planning department, this site would, under current regulation, be required to be 100% affordable housing, should planning be granted.
On the basis that the site is 3.76ha with 2/3rds of this developable and a likely density of 35 to 40 houses per ha this gives a likely number of houses on the site in excess of 100 !
Crikey!

Discussion Forum
There is a discussion forum also opened on LinkedIn, you need to have a LinkedIn account, but this is an easy process to set up and does not cost (although LinkedIn will give you an option to pay for an upgraded service, this is not necessary!)
http://www.linkedin.com/
There is a West Chiltington group created on LinkedIn and once you have got your LinkedIn account sorted you can find this easily, using the search feature. Search, changing the drop down that shows ‘search people’ to ‘search groups’ type West Chiltington into the search box and you should be able to join the group.
From there you will be able to add whatever you like.
Please however remember that this is public domain and that any comments made are open to all to view.
